Knowledge on the go: What are you listening to?

We are blessed to live in a world where so much content is freely available to us at any given moment. We live in a world where everyone with a device and internet connection can express themselves online, on any issue of their choosing, and reach audiences all over the globe.

With so much information out there, my question to you is: What do you choose to be exposed to? What knowledge are you acquiring as you go about your day?

When you’re getting ready for the day, when you’re driving, cooking, eating, working out, running errands, and in your free time, what are you listening to?

Is it music or podcasts and YouTube videos? If it’s not music, what kind of content does it provide: inspirational, comedic, or just random background noise?

"A day without learning is a day wasted. There is so much to learn and so little time to learn it."

- Albert Einstein

What I am trying to say is that our time is so precious that we should not be wasting it with useless information. There is so much valuable content we could be learning from at any time during our day and it is all freely offered by so many inspiring creators we can choose from.

Here are some of the people and channels I watch or listen to on YouTube, based on my topics of interest:

- Relationships: any video by Tony Gaskins

- Christianity:

1. Transformation Church

2. Paula White Ministries

3. Redefined TV

4. VOUS Church (Rich and DawnCheré Wilkerson)

- Self-development and more:

1. Jay Shetty

2. Ashley Graham: Pretty Big Deal

3. Women of Impact

- Oprah:

1. OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network

2. O, The Oprah Magazine

3.WW formerly Weight Watchers: Oprah's 2020 Vision Tour Visionaries, Oprah's Your Life in Focus

- A lifetime of knowledge and experience:

1. Any interview with Oprah

2. Any interview with Michelle Obama

3. Any interview with Gayle King

-Everyday life topic discussions: The Real Daytime

My hope is that you take a look at the kind of content you are consuming daily and decide that your time is too precious to be wasted on anything that doesn’t motivate, uplift and educate you.

Knowledge is power.
